It's great but, I feel like something's mssing. It's difficult to describe. Like you know those black keys on the piano? And how their tones give a different feel from the rest? It's the same with these chiptunes. for people in the comments, the reason this might remind you of flying battery is because the melody at 0:40 has a similar rhythm, and a countermelody at a higher octave that comes in at the 3rd measure (in flying battery act 2 there are two high pitched notes in the 4th measure that give a similar feeling)

After the death egg robot is defeated, the master emerald is exposed, but, metal sonic quickly steals it and transform in to super metal sonic, the both battle until sonic wins, the master emerald in there would be cool if knuckles was playable, would tie the story well
